Mineral Lion Stain Free Guarantee
We guarantee that the Mineral Lion system will not cause staining to any type of pool surface if used as directed. If our system does cause staining, we will offer a $500 cash payment to be used to clean the stains using acid washing or other method.
Terms and Conditions
This guarantee applies to purchases made directly from ClearBlue Ionizer Inc. or through pool & spa industry distributors. Claims must be made by an industry professional. This guarantee does not apply to end-user customers or homeowners.
The following terms and conditions apply to the Stain Free Guarantee:
- Proof of purchase and installation of a Mineral Lion system must be provided and confirmed with a photo of the installation
- The claim cannot be made within the first 90 days of the installation
- The Mineral Lion system must be installed according to the operating manual
- The Mineral Lion system must be sized correctly for the pool. For example, pools 25,000 gallons and under should be using the models sized for up to 25,000 gallons.
- The stain must be blue or blue/green. Other color stains are unlikely to be caused by minerals
- The following parameters must be tested weekly and adjusted into the ranges given below:
- pH: 7.2 – 7.8
- Alkalinity: 80 – 120ppm
- Calcium Hardness: 200 – 400ppm
- TDS: 200 – 3,000ppm
- CYA: 30-50
- Copper: 0.2 – 0.4ppm
- Claims will require a record of the parameters above on at least 5 different days over a 90 day period that is within 30 days of the claim being made
- ClearBlue Ionizer Inc. reserves the right to send a representative to the site in question to confirm that the staining is made by the minerals we are adding
- ClearBlue Ionizer Inc. reserves the right to request photos of the stain sites
- This gaurantee does not apply to any body of water less than 5,000 gallons.
