If your pool is under 25,000 gallons (95,000 L), you can shock your pool every two weeks.

If your pool is over 25,000 gallons, you may want to shock once a week.

If there is a heavy rainstorm or heavy usage of the pool, we recommend shocking to take care of extra organics and contaminants in the water.

You can use chlorine or non-chlorine based super oxidizers for shocking.
